Shadowbane Preview

Warcraft III Patch

WarcraftIII.Net - Game Patch Page has word of a new Warcraft III patch which adds localized Battle.net messages. The patch will be automatically applied to Warcraft III clients upon connecting to Battle.Net. Also, Battle.net News has word of another 20,000 accounts that have been closed due to the use of Warcraft III map hacks, and the related CD keys are banned from ladder play for two weeks, and repeat offenders risk having their accounts permanently banned.

Registration is now underway for the World Cyber Games 2002 USA Tour which will select qualifiers to be invited to Korea to compete in an international championship in Unreal Tournament, Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, Half-Life: Counter Strike, Starcraft: Brood War and Quake III: Arena. Out of the Blue

A comment in our forums about the cup stacking video from yesterday suggested it would make a great Olympic sport... here here! I don't agree that curling is the first sport to drop in its favor (I'm thinking synchronized swimming myself), but it does seem to have more spectator value than many, if not most spectator sports.
