who's killing the great pages of quake?

9/18/96 do you remember this movie that came out maybe 15-20 years ago called "who's killing the great chefs of europe?" well okay dig this: who's killing the great pages of quake? no i don't mean the ones that have closed down (btw, i got a complimentary email that made me very proud from darin mcneil of 'quake will rule the cosmos' which is my all-time favorite dear departed quake site) i mean my page was unreachable for hours at a time during recent hacker raids, and stomped was off-line about half the day monday (which prompted a flood of emails--mean what do i know? i should write people who ask me why stomped was down telling them i'll let them know as soon as the answer comes up on the "big board." they ought to go for that--people love the "big board" concept). and then there's redwood who limped along with computer woes for a week or more before his motherboard bought the farm last friday, and just got in his first update since, and now scary's quakeholio goes up and down like a yo-yo in spite of the fact that his page has been moved to gamesmania's spanking good hardware on a nice fat t4 or 5 or something. so like wtf, i mean is this a conspiracy? i need to know. got any theories? can't be the wives and girlfriends (quake-widows), they'd target the game servers, not the web pages. the other thing i noticed is how many quake webmasters (quakemasters--yes, i like it blue quakemaster) have been sick lately? look around the pages i've noticed a lot of i've been sick lately stuff... kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it? i have my theories and as soon as i finish helping oj find the real killers, the two of us are going to turn our full attention to this case and get to the truth. btw, once the real killers in the oj case have been brought to justice, watch oj spark his comeback co-starring with me in a cop-buddy show "blue 'n' the juice" which will probably be in first run syndication. in the meantime i continue to gather evidence. if you have a theory on what's happening to all the quake web pages i want you send theories to shooter@grassyknoll.com.
