Limited Time Price Reduction for PikPok’s Addictive Bird Launching Game

WELLINGTON, New Zealand – January 27, 2010 – PikPok™ today announced that is lowering the price for Bird Strike™, the studio’s addictive new title for iPhone, for a limited time. Bird Strike is currently featured in the “New and Noteworthy” section of the iTunes App Store, and to celebrate, PikPok is making the game available for just $0.99 through February 1st.

“The iPhone community has been very receptive and we have already added OpenFeint, online leaderboards, and are cooking up another update for our players,” said Jos Ruffell, manager of the PikPok label. “Bird Strike is fun and addictive and players of all ages have picked up the game and enjoyed launching Gerald the Bird skyward. We hope that at this price we get some of those people who were on the fence to pick up the game and start launching!”

After February 1st, the game will return to its $1.99 price point.
