IncaGold Signs Agreement with LithTech For Use of the LithTech Development
System in 40 New Games
Zurich, Switzerland – IncaGold is pleased to announce that it has finalized
an agreement with LithTech, Inc. to utilize the LithTech Development System for
the creation of 40 new IncaGold games. Use of the LithTech Development System
has been
key in the success of recent industry titles such as No One Lives Forever™,
Sanity™, and KISS: Psycho Circus™. This agreement marks the technology’s
biggest outing to date in the area of casual gaming, and gives IncaGold access
of the development kit for its PC/CD-ROM formatted games, as well as expansion
capabilities onto Sony Playstation® 2 and Microsoft Xbox™ formats.
"LithTech delivers a powerful, comprehensive set of technologies and
tools that gives our licensees a wider range of options and freedom when
developing their products," LithTech CEO, Jason Hall, said. "We are
excited about this arrangement and look forward to working with IncaGold."
Already in development, the first IncaGold titles to utilize the system
include the upcoming Robin Hood, Model Railroad Simulator, Quest for the West
– Oregon Trail, Circus Tycoon and another, not yet announced, first-person
shooter product for a worldwide distribution on PC CD-ROM.
"We are thrilled to be using the LithTech Development System for the
creation of many of our coming titles," says Richard M. Holmes, Managing
Director of IncaGold. "We are looking forward to maximizing the true
potential of this system and thus enhance the dynamism of our development
strategy and increase the value of the products we make."
Ryan Hagan, President of IncaGold USA and project leader of the Model
Railroad Simulator and Robin Hood projects agrees. "The Lithtech
Development System is a crucial step for the long-term success of our company.
We really enjoy the comprehensive support system it offers, and our development
time is significantly less. Basically, the time saved justifies the money spent
up front, and gives us additional income in the long run."
