Stardock's Impulse Platform now offers preorders of Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment, the upcoming micro-expansion for Ironclad's newly patched science-fiction strategy game. Word on the Sins of a Solar Empire Website is that those who preorder Entrenchment will be granted automatic entrance into the upcoming beta testing of the expansion. Impulse also offers a new release date for Entrenchment following its recent delay, saying it is now expected on January 1, 2009.
