In spite of the recent announcement by Digital Jesters of a restructuring and a cash influx (story), Super X Studios is the latest developer to announce it has severed ties with the troubled publisher for Wild Earth, their now-complete safari game:

Seattle, WA - 2005.12.01 -- Effective immediately, Super X Studios® is terminating their publishing agreement with Digital Jesters Limited for their long-anticipated award-winning independent game, Wild Earth®.

Super X Studios owner James Thrush stated, "It has come to our awareness that the company we signed with, Digital Jesters Limited, will not be able to fulfill its publishing role as its staff and assets are being subsumed by the new DJ Group publishing company. We wish them well on their new venture but as of this moment we are looking to place Wild Earth, which is now completed, with another publisher."
