Pinnacle's Weird Website has word on the Deadlands project (thanks Frans), which has been a quiet topic for a couple of years now: "We've also had some great news about our Deadlands game. Headfirst has made great progress and is very close to signing a publisher. The game is still in early development, but it looks like the platform and game-type are just about nailed down." They also have word that: "GMG Films, producers of 'Bad Company,' 'Highlander (the TV series),' and 'Jingle Belle' (in development with Revolution Studios) have secured the rights to 'Deadlands.' GMG Films is working with Permut Presentations (Producers of 'Face/Off') and the established writers Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman ('Inferno' for Silver Pictures is their latest credit)."
