The "Outbreak Will Change Everything" teaser trailer from last week for Dying Light that badgered us by asking "Are you prepared? Are you prepared? Are you truly prepared?" turns out to have been a tease for another trailer, titled "Humanity" (oh, the humanity!), for which we were not truly prepared after being hyped to save the date. The clip sets the scene for the zombie game and clearly strives for some emotional pull, so perhaps the unusually strong response to the Dead Island trailer from a few years ago lead to them promoting this in advance in this manner. The angle here is to recall that the zombies you will encounter in the upcoming survival/horror game include your friends, family, and neighbors. They say: "We’ve gotten used to killing zombies in video games over the years, but who were these zombies before they became infected? Is there still a human inside of them? In the ‘Humanity’ trailer, Techland aims to address the reality behind the zombie fiction, and present a deeper vision of what a zombie epidemic would mean for humankind."
