In a post-earnings conference call related to the story above, Activision CEO Mike Morhaime revealed that Activision Blizzard is going back to the drawing board a bit with their upcoming MMORPG codenamed Titan, reports Joystiq. Word is this includes the game's business model, as they seem to be concluding that in spite of their unprecedented success with World of Warcraft, Titan cannot rely on subscriptions. "We're in the process of selecting a new direction for the project and re-envisioning what we want the game to be," Morhaime said. "While we can't talk about the details yet, it is unlikely to be a subscription-based MMORPG."
