Paradox Interactive announces the release of Legio, inspired by both Chess and Warhammer to create a fantasy-themed strategy game they say "rewards strategic thinking, courage, and cleverness." The game is available on GamersGate, and presumably will come to other digital distributers soon. The Legio Release Trailer shows off the game, and here's word: "Allowing for many different styles of play, Legio is easy to learn but difficult to master. Playable in single-player and two-player games, the fantasy game features different game modes engaging simple vs. player challenges to full Elimination tournaments. Boasting hundreds of unique animations for various attacks, mortal blows and other special moves this strategy game will keep your King on high alert."
