Develop has word that Square Enix has made "unavoidable” cuts to the staff at Beautiful Game Studios, the developer behind the Championship Manager series of association football/soccer games. "Our current business model does not allow us to compete in a fast-changing industry with any degree of flexibility or commercial confidence," reads a statement from the publisher. "To achieve this, we will be restructuring Beautiful Game Studios, which will regrettably bring with it unavoidable job losses."
