The Electronic Arts UK Forums have a status report on the seemingly endless wait for the coming version 1.50 update for Battlefield 2. Apparently the patch is now delayed by "office politics" intriguingly described as "worth the slight extra delay." Word is once this situation is resolved "we'll be good to release it, though they add that another closed beta will precede the release of the patch.
