Rocket launcher:
go to quake. push 7. if a big gun pops up you have a rocket
launcher. the rocket launcher (RL) is considered by many to
be the best overall weapon due to its splash damage (damage
taken by players near to the impact point), and direct damage.

Quake II's rocket launcher is not as powerful, as Quake I's
weapon balance was simply horrible. Because quakers complained
of slow rocket speed and firing rate (which was in fact equal
to QI's rate), id sped up the rocket in one patch, but later
returned the rocket's velocity to its original speed.
