Dev Corner:
Tabula Rasa's Newest Deployment on PlayNC.com has thoughts from NCsoft's
Starr Long on how their latest content update improves the new player experience
in Tabula Rasa, as well as continuing to properly serve their veteran players.
He also discusses the impact publicity from
Operation Immortality, and
how they have integrated aspects of that real-world event into the game.

Major grind... |

I looked into playing this when Age of Conan grew stale on me, so I of course did what I usually do before starting to play a new MMO: a ton of research.
The end result was that I came to the conclusion that this game is a major grind, taking over 3 times as long to get max level as Age of Conan. Turns out, in order to keep subscribers longer, instead of adding "more content", they just made current content take longer to complete.
Just another MMO that failed to deliver.

Can you do me a favor? Can you have a great day? Do you think you could do that for me? Thanks. |

I went back to the game when they did one of those 'come back and try it again for a week' dealies a couple of months back. The Euro server that was the most populated was deserted, and they still hadn't introduced content they were promising 6 months ago. Shame really, as I quite liked the early game.

They sent me an email saying my beta account had been reactivated, and I should come visit. Never seen that before. If not for the huge-ass download, I'd probably give it a try. I wonder if they ever made the Logos worth anything aside from a catchy story.

Hence why I think this game is destined for the same fate as Auto Assault.
