Deep Shadows' upcoming science fiction game is on display in a new Precursors
trailer that highlights the game's first-person shooter combat, vehicular action
in both cars and mechs, role-playing elements, as well as ship-to-ship combat in
outer space. The clip is posted on
AtomicGamer,
FileFront, and Gamer's
Hell.

Here's to hoping it's good...Boiling Point was one of those games that left me feeling like it COULD have been great, but needed more patching/time in the oven.
The combat and driving portions don't look THAT bad...can't be any worse than Mass Effect with the same buildings/planet/etc. repeated over and over and over..

The game play looked horrible. Weak ass weapon effects, horrible animations with npc's and the mech... I really don't see anything to 'ohh ahh' over.

Yeah, that's my main concern here as well. Precursors is very ambitious and I'm not sure if Deep Shadows can apply the sufficient amount of polish to each of the game's many mechanics.
