And what's this bullshit of hiring 25,000 experienced police officers? That's 1,125,000,000 dollars per year, assuming these experienced cops are ok with getting no raises ever. Yes, over a billion dollars in lost *profit* - that's sale price minus manufacturing and development costs. Are we really supposed to believe that software piracy is costing tens, or even hundreds, of billions of dollars in lost sales each year? And only in the eight states this study examined? Why, on a national scale, piracy must cost the industry TRILLIONS of dollars in lost sales! So is the BSA next going to claim that the money saved from total elimination of piracy would be able to pay back the entire Federal debt? Gee, I'd rather have those trillions going to my trustworthy government instead of funding those dirty terrorists! (Anyone remember that ridiculous claim? )

I like when they just pull them out of their ass, and claim their invisible nonexistent sales were actually "losses"
