The StargateTC 2 Website has the debut release of their Stargate-themed modification for Half-Life 2 (thanks Ant and Planet Half-Life), calling it a total conversion in the first use of that old school phrase we can recall in a while. Here's a bit on the project taken from the FAQ: "SGTC2 will first get its inspiration from the SG1 show before the 9th season: the war against Goa'ulds remains the first modding topic of SGTC2, just like SGTC, the old HL 1 mod. Adding technologies, weapons and characters from Altantis or from the Ori war is not rejected a priori but, if this add is decided, it will be applied in future versions of SGTC2. "

	I think this would be tight. Work as a team to ward off monsters and completing missions. That sounds like fun to me.

	I think it depends on the map. On the map I played it was a bit more like CS, with the players on each side getting 1 life and the humans needed to get through the Stargate within 5 minutes while the Goa'uld had to keep them on the planet, dead or alive. This message was edited at Jul 7, 06:37.

	Its a bit boring. I thought it might have been a kind of "natural selection" style game or have space battles, XP or rpg elements but its a team deathmatch affair. Uninstalled. This message was edited at Jul 7, 04:06.

	and again, no torrent, just slow websites. I couldnt pull down over 300k from thema dn they host it themselves. Surely it would have been better to host a tracker and a seed?
