Everyday Shooter & Portal Demo [May 09, 2008, 9:51 pm ET] - Viewing Comments

A post on the Steam Website has word that Everyday shooter is now for sale via Steam and that the Portal: First Slice demo is now freely available to all:

Everyday Shooter, the independent musical shooter developed by Jonathan Mak, mades its worldwide PC debut today via Steam.

Winner of numerous Independent Game Festival Awards including Design Innovation, Everyday Shooter is everything but what its name implies. Drawing upon a mixture of arcade shooter gameplay styles, Everyday Shooter stands apart from the crowd by offering both a wide variety of challenges and an all-guitar soundtrack, including procedurally generated guitar riffs used instead of traditional game sound effects.

Everyday Shooter is now available for just $9.99 via Steam, and those who purchase during the first week of availability will save 10% off the regular price.

In other Steam news, Portal- First Slice -- the official demo for the title named Game of the Year by over 30 publications -- is now available for free to all gamers via Steam.

And, finally, Steam has been re-launched to better showcase the growing number of titles and publishers on Steam.

Yes I do and so do many other people, my next one however unless AMD change the graphics drastically will be NV and NVDA is the stock ticker for Nvidia.

As for the fiasco, that didn't affect me but the portal limited release did.

I am curious if any of them are NVDA shareholders.

Normal Vagina Double Anal?

Seriously, it makes sense that Valve support Nvidia, since they have the best hardware at the moment, just like when they backed ATI during the GeForce FX fiasco.

Oh wait, I get it... You have an ATI card don't you... *laugh*

Valve have said publicly that they currently are and in future will be biased towards NV hardware.

I am curious if any of them are NVDA shareholders.

About time we had a level playing field and not just NV owners.

Wah wahh, most of the world doesnt get it, so therefore they shouldnt even list their products. Why doesn't manic half run Valve's PR dept? He knows better than anyone!

Everyday Shooter SUCKS. Normally I would say "don't bother", but knowing how this forum is, by all means, go ahead and waste your money.
