THQ Ships Warhammer

announcing the availability of Relic's standalone fantasy-themed RTS expansion:

THQI - News) today announced that WarhammerŽ 40,000(TM): Dawn of War: Dark
Crusade(TM), the highly-anticipated hybrid expansion to Relic Entertainment's
critically acclaimed Real-Time Strategy (RTS) franchise, has shipped exclusively
for Windows PC. The critically acclaimed title delves deeper into the futuristic
Warhammer 40,000 universe, introducing two all-new factions, an immersive single
and multiplayer experience, plus additional features that become available when
played with other titles in the Dawn of War franchise. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of
War: Dark Crusade, is now available for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

And just so everyone knows, if you just buy Dark Crusade you will only be able to play as the Tau and Necron in multiplayer. You need the original to play as the Space Marines, Ork, Chaos or Eldar and you need WA to play as Imperial Guard. Every race is playable in single player, however
So even though it's stand-alone, you still need both Dawn of War and Winter Assault installed in order to get the full features, basically?
That makes it not really stand alone...
But oh well, going over to BB to pick this up tomorrow.

But its only $30, a standard for expansion packs. Thats how much Winter Assault cost when it came out.
