This game's community is dying out sadly, the launch period and negative buzz really ravaged it. I used to get games fairly quickly but now I can sit around waiting for 5-10 minutes sometimes and the bitching on the forums about the connection issues never ends. They really needed an open beta for this game, kind of boggles the mind why they didn't bother. Of course the game is dying. It is a bad game. Their release was a total failure with the multiplayer component not working. It took them months to even begin to get the game working. On top of it all, they have never really hammered out their connection problems. Time to move on and wait for someone else to come along and make a good game like this. |

A buggy demo can turn those planned sales into non-sales if they experience launch issues, even if those issues were fixed in just a couple days. Now, instead, they get the initial influx of sales, plus whatever others they score from people who were on the fence beforehand. Not to mention the good business sense of fixing the big bugs for the folks who actually bought the game, rather than wasting resources making a demo for those people who are waiting it out anyway. |

A buggy demo based on old code is one of the dumbest things you can do. Makes far more sense to release a demo a month or two after the game's released - launch issues are ironed out, bugs are fixed, and you get sales from the people who were already planning on buying it anyway.

| They stated previously that they would release a demo based on the 1.1 update. I would imagine it's the next thing we'll see. I've been waiting patiently myself. |

@Dean
The Devs have been working overtime trying to patch things. For a while they were putting out 2 bug fixes a week.
The game itself has issues, but I for one think I have spent more time on this title than any other (possible exception would be Sins) over the last couple years.
At any rate, props to the Dev and Pub. I'm sure they are aware that people want a demo, and that can be expected soonish. They (rightly) wanted to resolve connection issues before moving on to marketing issues... |

think they wanted to get the code to 1.1 before they pooped out a demo. This fixes a few exploits that I'm sure they didn't want in the demo. Have you got a source for that thought, or are you just making it up as you go? Starting your comment with "I think . . ." makes me think the latter. |

| This is one of those games that takes on a whole dimension when played with a group of humans. Single player is okay, but working with a skilled teammate(s) makes it so much more fun. |
