Happy level-up day, WEgo!
And yeah, I'm gonna catch ST at the matinee on Monday to avoid the crowds. I hear Karl Urban is the proverbial shit as Bones. I read recently that Leonard Nimoy was uber-impressed with his performance as Bones and actually cried when he saw the first screening with the scene where Bones and Kirk meet on the transport, and DeForrest would have been pretty damn happy with it.
And man, Uhura is hot. I'd give her the ol' "captain's log" any day of the week! |

I should have remembered from the Bonsai Kitten episode that cats are apparently one of the few topics that cannot be joked about here. As any cat will tell you "Cats are serious business".
And thank you.

No, but after yesterdays video, I had an urge to throw them in a bag and dispose of them, and see if it was "funny"... Man! Okay, I officially apologize for the kitten link. I should have remembered from the Bonsai Kitten episode that cats are apparently one of the few topics that cannot be joked about here.
And for the record, I am a cat lover, who lived with cats all my life until marrying someone who is allergic.
No animals were harmed in the making of this post. |

Star Trek FTW, btw. Secret text: My only complaint at time of watching was Uhura and Spock sittin-in-a-tree...I may not be as hardcore as some, but it struck me as a little odd. But I've since come to reason that we're just seeing a slightly more human version, one whose emotions came forth with a vengeance with the destruction of Vulcan and the death of his mother. |

My wife caught Leonard Nimoy on "The View" today. She said that there was a big deal about Angelina Jolie saying he was repressed, and that she should get a hold of him and make him scream. Well Nimoy's current S.O. said don't worry, she makes him scream lol.
There was another part about how "Bill" (William Shatner) threw him into a pool on set while Nimoy was wearing a heavy terricloth robe and that grew into a rumor about Shatner trying to drown him. It was a joke turned bad, as Nimoy could have easily drowned according to him.
They also said something about impressions of why Shatner was not involved with the project but only ued that as a tease and was never covered.
J.J. Abrams has stated any time he is called to do a Star Trek movie he will do it in a heartbeat. That he had so much fun doing this movie that he would gladly do it again. He said fans are concerned about the chemistry and relationships between the crew and has stated he thinks that this crew has that special magic. I guess tonight a lot of people find out.
Have fun Blue. |

Secret text follows: Based on that my dad is going to HATE this movie. He already is grumbling about Kirk and Spock being in Starfleet Academy together.....
He's a Trekkie, I liked the original series and used to watch some of TNG and the movies, but that's about it. |
