Red Faction: Guerrilla Movies

A new "Transporter" trailer from Red Faction: Guerrilla shows the importance of an exit strategy in the upcoming shooter sequel, or at least the ability to improvise one by acquiring a vehicle when needed. The clip is posted on ActionTrip and AtomicGamer. Transportation is also the theme of a new Convoy trailer, though neither Big Ben nor Rubber Duck make an appearance in this clip, which is posted on AtomicGamer and ActionTrip. There is also a new Red Faction: Guerrilla interview on IncGamers discussing the game with Volition's James Hague.

its a 3rd person shooter, wtf!!! who on the pc wants a 3rd person shooter, not that many.

This game isn't being designed for PC. It's being designed for consoles. The PC port is just an afterthought mandated by the publisher to milk the game for every penny.

its a 3rd person shooter, wtf!!! who on the pc wants a 3rd person shooter, not that many. Reasons why all these companies are going out of business is due to the complete and utter idiotic ideas on how games should be played. Pc is mostly fps so why on this planet have they done a 3rd person!! I see another company going bust!!

Speaking of Guerilla, Guerilla Games(makers of Killzone 2) are charging $6 for 2 maps...what a fucking ripoff.

it may be a 3rd person game, but you still have to aim 1st person

and thats bollocks on console controllers

im done with fps on console

Red Faction: Guerrilla is third-person.

I played the demo on the 360; no, the graphics aren't the greatest, but they had to compensate for the sheer amount of onscreen destruction somewhere.

When you can grab a giant walker and smash through a three-story building and have debris and bodies falling and flying everywhere, you won't care that they didn't use the latest pixel shaders and whatnot.

As long as the shooting is fun, the battles are large, the world is free-form like they say it is, and you can blow pretty much everything up, I really don't care too much about the graphics.

the art direction and overall look screams "generic console fps" but this may have been somewhat of a requirement to make everything destructible, from a technology standpoint

lookin forward to this on PC.. im done with fps on console, shit is retarded with those controllers

Go forth, and kill!

Damn,

If the game actually features such battles, it should be fucking awesome. I hope this wasn't just one of those fake concocted trailers, and in the real game it's just you against two guys...

Pretty excited about this game though, it looks really cool so far.
