EA Posts Over $1 Billion Full Year Loss has fiscal fourth quarter and fiscal year 2009 results for Electronic Arts. The development an publishing giant lost 1.1 billion over the year, which is pretty significant, as the old saying points out: a billion here and a billion there, and after a while it adds up to real money. Word is: "Income was $860 million for Q4, a decrease of $267 million as compared to the same period last year with $1.13 billion in revenue. However, EA posted a loss of $42 million (negative $0.13 per share), half the $94 million (negative $0.30 per share) Q4 loss the company reported last year."

theyve just made the wrong games, dice should be made to make a BF3, BF2 sold 17.5 million copies. So why on earth hasnt a BF3 been made that will bring in the revenue or other games in the same league?? For me it's all down to stupidity and difiance.. All these ppl moaning that EA should die, if they did where would you get your games from? Cos there arnt many publishers around and then where would you get your games? What's really sad is that they have started changing for the better but now this is just more incentive for them to churn out more shit like Spore instead of Dead Space. Sequels galore incoming

Well, EA was forced to delay releasing a game that was finished last year because of a certain WB delaying a movie. Oddly enough the expected revenue of it closely matches what they expected to rake in from the game.
