More on that Addiction Study

NIMF Urges 'Thoughtful Conversation' In Game Addiction Study Debate on Gamasutra reflects NIMF's statement that "Regardless of whether you agree with the exact statistics in Dr. Gentile’s study, it provides the gaming industry, medical experts, and public policymakers with a new opportunity to have a thoughtful conversation regarding the effects of video games on kids." Meanwhile, Iowa State University Responds To ESA Criticisms on IncGamers talks with Dr. Gentile himself, and he tells them criticisms of his reports' methodology (specifically using "convenience sampling," rather than a "probability sample") is a "trick the ESA is trying to get you to pick up on," explaining, "Every survey is a volunteer survey, you have to agree to do it, so therefore it is a ‘convenience' sample."

Kids are FAR more reclusive these days and i think that is a direct result of computer technology. Hiding behind facebook, texting, social gaming but in the real world they walk around head down, arms folded across their chest.

People aren't more reclusive, they just have technological tools that allow them to stay within their own circle of friends rather than branching out. Just because they don't want to talk to you doesn't mean they're reclusive and don't want to talk.

That could apply to adults as much as children anyway, and it has nothing to do with this study, so I'm not sure what you're pointing out here.
