The Blood Bowl Website is live as home to Cyanide's fantasy-themed sports game. The site has information and game media, as well as word that registration is underway for multiplier beta testing: "Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive are pleased to announce the opening of the registration to participate in the Blood Bowl multi-player online beta. Indeed, the beta is about to be opened! To make sure you will be one of the first to participate to it, just complete the registration form! During this multi-player online beta you will be able to trample the grass of the Human stadium by playing either the Humans or Orcs teams!"

I'm not familiar with Blood Bowl but Chaos League was pretty awesome. I'm hoping they fix the turn-based play. Edit - I take that back. From the website - "is the exact replica of Games Workshop's game where all the official rules – taken from the 5th edition of the Living Rulebook – are meticulously respected." So turn based looks sorted. And it looks like they might have improved the AI for real-time so players will zone and defend properly without having to micro like crazy. Seriously can't wait now. It's about time someone did this game justice. After this I would like to see them do Space Hulk as these guys seem to be pretty loyal to what the game is suppose to be like. Hmmm, wonder if the crowd storms the field like in the table top game hehe.

In Fantasy Warhammer orcs are called orcs. In Warhammer 40K orcs are called orks. Blood Bowl uses the fantasy setting so they are called orcs.
