The Interview With Jeff Gardiner on Planet Fallout talks with this Senior Producer at Bethesda Game Studios about The Pitt, the upcoming DLC for Fallout 3, their action/RPG sequel. The Pitt is set in Pittsburgh, but it also features "The Pitt," an arena where two men enter, but one man leaves: "At a certain point in the quest the player will have to prove their worth and fight a series of battles in the Pitt, a fighting area situated underneath the Steel Mill. Raiders climb the fence above the pitt as the player is challenged variety of foes. Each fight starts with barrels of toxic radiation being dropped down, which adds an additional element of tension. Depending on the player’s previous choices and allegiances, they’ll have different weaponry and other unique items at their disposal."

I would again happily buy this, if it wasn't for the fact that I HAVE to use that piece of this GfWL, and have to pay in this fucking bolshevik Microsoft Points stupidity. I especially love the part where the DLC costs 800 "points", and you can only buy points in multiples of 500. Microsoft : Where we screw you EVERY SINGLE FUCKING WAY WE CAN. Hey asshats. I've read quite a bit that the first FO3 DLC on GFWL, which is a POS (IT'S ACRONYM HELL!!!!), was not worth $10 bucks. Understanding that cost and value are extremely subjective things, it makes me wonder just how much value such a small pittance should really add.

I mean, if it's not even worth a measly $10, then was it worth releasing at all? Even for free?
