I don't have a Wii anymore but just wanna recommend Life Force to people who haven't tried it out. It's a Gradius spin off, but with two players. I loved that game!
And if you have a PSP, may I recommend:

It's import only, but includes all of the Salamander/Lifeforce games...menus are in english, so no problems there. I have it, and love it...

| Someone did a mod for Neverwinter Nights based on Dante's Inferno which was quite like the book. You can probably still get it off nwvault. |

Here's the chance for something really interesting to be done in the digital medium, and what does EA do with this classic? Turn it into a fucking console shooter.
It's not a shooter, it's a God of War ripoff. Which is just about as bad. They could have made some sort of clever horror/thriller adventure game that actually did justice to the themes and tone of the book but they decided to make a beat 'em up instead. |

I thought this had to be a piss-take at first, but it's real. This is why games are considered irrelevant in the larger artistic world.
We'd laugh at this sort of rubbish at the movies, but apparently gamers are much less discerning.
Sure, it's just a game - but it's also an encroachment on the world of serious literature.
EA's approach to difficult creative concepts is to smother them under cliche, chew it all up, and then take a creamy shit and look pleased about it.
Meanwhile the gaming press looks on and aplauds.

Exactly. We have got to break this lock of bondage on sexuality that pervades our Western European-descended culture. That's one thing the Church and religion in general *must* be held accountable for. The pagans had the right idea about the body and its place in nature.
