Watchmen Next Month

The Watchmen: The End is Nigh Website now reveals the release date for the upcoming superhero game. A new trailer concludes saying "Download the game March 2009," and the site is now emblazoned with 03.04.09, which directly corresponds with a countdown time that currently reads 15 days, 13 hours, and 30-some minutes as well as the planned release of the tie-in movie that same week. The site also has logos for D2D and Steam indicating how the game is to be distributed on PCs, and there is also a page that reflects upon how this game has been described as episodic, though it sounds like there will just be two episodes, as there is a non-explanation of what to expect from Part Two: "Learn more about the second installment of the Watchmen downloadable game series coming soon." mag, that is exactly what I thought of 'Pitch Black', one of the worst movies I have ever seen. So bad I never want to see another movie with Vin. The only roll I like him in was Saving Private Ryan because he got popped by a sniper and died before he could ruin the movie. Kind of like Seagal. Best movie of his is when he dies (letting Kurt Russel board the plane) before he could ruin the rest of the movie. http://www.stevenseagal.com/

To tell the truth I've not seen any of the Riddick movies after a co-work and manager talked me into seeing the horrid 'Pitch Black'. Funny. Everyone seems to love that one. I haven't seen it, but I did see Chronicles of Riddick. I think it ranks up there as one of the worst movies I've ever seen (accounting for the fact that it had a budget and a lot of promotion).

Riddick is the only game that doesn't suck balls because it does not rely on the license. In fact it would be a great game without the license. They don't use the license as a crutch.

Bah, Every single movie tie in game so far has sucked balls. Its such a shame that half-assed PR stunts like this detract from a franchise.
