Hopefully the sequel will be every bit as good as the first. |

| I thought both Spider-man 3 and X-men 3 were better games than Iron Man. I think Iron Man was the worst super-hero game in recent memory. |

I seriously doubt it sold well, it really was that bad. So bad in fact it's surprising they're being allowed to have another stab at the franchise - because this stab will probably be the lethal one that will kill it. |

| Its amazing, just how well did the 1st game do considering how bad it was? Enough to warrant a sequel?!? How can it be in tough times like this they can greenlight a sure-to-be-bad sequel to an already sucky game?! |

Movie tie-ins are ***NEVER*** any good. While not a direct movie tie-in, Riddick was actually a damn good game. Not all licensed games are bad, the vast majority are, but when that one isn't, it makes it that much better. |

The studio doesn't care how fun the game is only that it follow the film closely and is decently playable (enough to get decent ratings and attractive enough to sell). Actually, they don't even care about that... the original scored 32 on Metacritic. The fact they're using the same engine means this can be written off immediately. Shame. |

@everyone
You're looking at it from the spectrum of a video game developer/publisher. Movie studios set aside hundreds of millions for marketing. Of that amount probably 5-30M is committed for the official video game, and advertising of the game. The studio doesn't care how fun the game is only that it follow the film closely and is decently playable (enough to get decent ratings and attractive enough to sell). You're never going to see Film Studios EVER treat a video game as a separate entity beyond an interactive marketing ploy for the film.

Pfft. Movie tie-ins are ***NEVER*** any good. Why don't movie producers ever realize this? Better still, why don't normal consumers realize it? It's a ridiculous profit ploy and anyone falling for it is a gullible idiot. Any game development house taking one on probably has never put anything worthwhile out anyway. If they were given more time to devote to these games, there might be a better chance of a decent release, but that's never the case.
Do yourselves a favor and simply ignore these stupid PR announcements and their subsequent video game releases. You'll be sending a message that hopefully helps to improve the industry. |

The mindless masses will buy this game for themselves or their children. It's merchandising fodder, and ranks up there with Happy Meal movie tie-ins.

How can you enhance something that was so dire to begin with? Ahh well, when the only way is up...
It's just a shame the first game was based on such a good property.
