BattleForge in March

Phenomic Launches BattleForge to Stores on March 24 offers a March 24 release date for this trading card-based RTS game in both North America and Europe. The announcement offers a reminder that open beta testing is currently underway and outlines preorder incentives: "Prior to launch, players can get into the BattleForge Open Beta by registering at www.BattleForgeCardHunt.com. Worldwide, pre-order customers will receive four exclusive units, one from each faction: Fire, Frost, Nature and Shadow. These units will feature exclusive card artwork and in-game animation. They will also be leveled-up, giving player’s a head start as they prepare for battle online. For more details on pre-ordering BattleForge, please visit www.battleforge.com."

Been in the beta for the past few months. It needs some tightening up, but overall if a CCG based RTS appeals to you, it's pretty good. It does get really hard, really quickly, and while there is a campaign mode it clearly has a multiplayer focus. It's pretty damned cool to see a card come to life and blow stuff up, though.

Been waiting for a good online-focused RTS game with collectible cards. The closest one to it is probably Wizard101 but this game is a bit childish. I found this gaming site that's giving out beta keys for BattleForge. If you guys wanna check it out, here's the URL
