So this is it eh? The line in the sand? Forcing me to run a program I really don't want to or have to run (Steam) before and during the time your program is active for no good reason. No good reason for ME.

Give me Steam as an *option* and I'll buy, make me use Steam and you lose my sale...and I've purchased every Total War game since.

I'm the same. This is the first Total War game I won't be buying. Its a ridiculous prerequisite to ask me to install and run a program that, for me, provides no benefit. It seems like developers are intent on giving me reasons to not spend my money on their products. I'll happily oblige.

Maybe you'll figure it out one of these days people just don't like DRM, and it infesting their computers.
