OK, So I downloaded FO3 through steam, not through GfW. You seem to indicated a process for getting the DLC via GfW and then making it work with Steam. Is that correct? Yep.

It's getting a lot more complicated to setup games and GfWL's profile system for saved games is something I really don't like (if you can't login then you don't get access to your saves). I'm not liking GFWL either, but you can create an offline profile so you have access to your save games without being connected, but then it doesn't track your achievements. |

Let me start off by saying that I truly enjoyed Fallout 3 and did not experience any of the bugs that others seem to.
STALKER is a better game.
Fallout 3 is neat in that it is mostly Fallout with a bit of "This is how we do it, do it" Bethesda thrown in to it. However it fails where STALKER wins and that is immersion.
In Fallout, no matter the setting, I never had the slightest worry that I would die. I never sweated it . I always knew I would find another gun with ammo at some point so I didn't have to stick with a particular rifle/handgun. Also, I heard the same 6 voices in FO3 that I heard in Oblivion, including the annoying Arena announcer/Fawkes. Also, killing the Ghouls and then watching them spazz around on the rocky ground because the physics didn't know what to do with them? Great way to break me out of the game, guys.
STALKER had more than six voices and ammo and bandage conservation were paramount. Hell, the first farmhouse/factory thing you had to capture was a difficult task. Also, when I kill a man...he laid where he died, still.

Fuck this. I was absolutely going to buy the DLC, since I love Fallout 3, but I can only get it through GfWL, and I have to pay in MS points? What the fuck is this, the Soviet Union?
Fuck you Bethesda. compliments of the company that brought you horse armor. XD
i didn't buy fallout 3 because its not real fallout. |

Yeah, right. Nevermind. You got your opinion, I got mine.
*sighs* So, the only accepted currency is MS points? Well, this means no dlc for me until the Bethesda people find another solution.
