Very tempted by Blade Runner since Dagok's saying it's done well.
Blade Runner is an amazing film on the HD formats. I have it on HD-DVD and I assume it's the same. It's gorgeous.
Amazon says the 5 disc Complete collectors edition is only $16.46 used, and 24.99 new. The 5 disc series has every edition of Blade Runner. So you get theatrical, Directors cut, final cut, and I think a special edition or something. The ending of the movie kept getting changed and little things in the movie were taken out over the years to try and make it more...actually I don't know why they messed with it, if anything they should have added more, not taken things out.
Blade Runner is the type of product that justifies the purchase of one of these players. It's awesome. If you own either HD player you should buy this movie. And if you love this movie you should buy the 5 disc version with all the different editions. |
