Why do they hate locks? Maybe they hate us for pvp as rogues and warriors go through us like a hot knife through butter, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better class to group with for PvE. With Wrath I respec'd to affliction - pretty much been demo my whole career - and it's scary how fast and how many mobs I can burn down. I regularly pull 3-5 at a time, and have done as many as 10 at once and walked away with full health and mana, where I may have had to pop a healthstone or tap my imp once or twice for a bit of mana. But really, I haven't broken a sweat doing it.
Oh yeah, and for the mount thing? Why not? I always thought it was dumb that we had race only mounts - and no, grinding rep for other ones was even dumber. Same with language. There's zero reason why the horde and alli shouldn't be able to communicate with each other. that needs to go too.

| Well, you do play with demons. And demons are bad. Especially that starter imp. God I hate his voice. I wish they had left him as speaking non-sense. |

But then they fixed it with WoTLK bringing Warcraft back to its roots.
It's funny, BC felt exactly like what I would expect an expansion to be - just additional missions and some new features. Not really tied together in any way, just a series of new zones and content.
LK really seems to be centered around a story - they seem to have gone out of their way to try to make that a point this time, and the game is better for it.
It's still a mmo, and your still hunting for 10 rat parts for a given quest sometimes, but I think overall they put a bit more work into this one.
Not perfect, and still plenty of room for improvement, but it's a great blizzard product.

- Racial restrictions on mounts have now been lifted. Night elves on mechanostriders? Tauren on raptors? You’re not seeing things.
- We have added over 60 new graveyards to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
