A fan-created pack for Fallout 3 swaps many of the textures in Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG sequel with higher-resolution replacements, upgrading the visuals in the game, though this also places greater demands on your system. The pack is just under 400 MB, and the download can be found on AtomicGamer, eXp Download, and Gamer's Hell.

Which is why I never understood all the fucking teenage angst over Fallout 3 to begin with. If you don't like the game Bethesda makes, wait a few weeks/months and the modders will make it into whatever you want. The hardcoded gameplay mechanics can't be changed by modders altering some stats and a couple of textures. If it's FPS game dressed up as an RPG. That is what it will remain. Modding ain't that special.
