Criterion Games
announce a plans for a February release for Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate
Box, the Windows edition of the open-world racing game named after a head shop.
They also announce the release will be supported with a trial version that will
allow a test drive of the entire game for a limited period. This allows a
logical way to provide a sample of an open world game, while also facilitating
online sales, as those who want to purchase the full version can unlock the
trial. They also have word on content: "Like both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
versions, this product combines the original Burnout Paradise with all the
incredible support content we’ve developed so far! That means our Cagney Pack
update, the Bikes Pack and the forthcoming Party Pack are all included." Thanks
Ant and
Voodoo Extreme.
