| the gamestop's in NYC are way too deeply annoying to shop in (urban youth should not be allowed to work retail in any capacity), so I just wait for the price of a game to go down on amazon. There's always a game to play for 25 bucks if you lag behind releases by 3 months. |

Considering they 'gave out' 800 million in trade in credit, you figure they made at least twice that much on re-selling the game.
At this point I'm sorta interested in what would happen if the companies/devs got a piece of that pie. |

I guess game publishers just expect everyone to start a 'played game' collection then? You know, because games age like fine wine. |

off topic but i heard Gamestop employees make zero money. So if you ever get a bad attitude from an employee, you know why
On topic.. I totally agree with Gamestop here. The second hand games market is how I can afford to play games. It's also why I stay away from digital distribution. I currently have 4 games up for auction on Ebay. Buying/selling used games keeps things really affordable.

| What she means by "get them upset" is "cause them to pirate", as opposed to "stop buying games", which is what they should do from the standpoint of making a stand based on principle. |
