Crysis Warhead 64-bit Status

A post on the Crysis-HQ.com Forum by Crytek Community Manager Sven Metzger indicates (in German) that they removed the 64-bit files from Crysis Warhead prior to releasing the first-person shooter follow-up. The reason they were removed is not revealed, but he indicates they have plans to supply them at some future time in a patch. Thanks PCGH.

Ok thanks for telling the world you don't know shit about PCs...

Bios update & graphic quality thing...well Evga 780i ..do a little research if your brain can handle it...

Bottom line Sound card (d2x) was not working right & video cards had issues as well...it's a common issue with that particular board.. but then again this is probably to complicated for you to grasp..

Thanks for the entertaining post kid...next time do some research before posting bullshit.

these kids lol..born to troll from their moms basement.

Ill try to make this easy..

1.Microsoft cares about money.
2.Microsoft doesnt care about games, it cares about money.
3.Microsoft doesnt know what 64bit is, it knows what money is.
4.Microsoft is hard working on win 7, it will make more money.
5.Microsoft appologizes for any inconvenience this has caused you.

Microsoft doesn't make any money off of games for windows, you twit.

Are you a complete fucktard? Of course they make money off gfw, how bout those that bought gears of war for windows then had to purchase gold memberships to actually play multiplayer with features?

Thats just one example of microfuck sticking it to gamers.
Plse go play in traffic cause you fucking fail!

Wow, CJ, go outside and kiss a girl for once in your life. I see no difference in speed for anything via x32 or x64. Now does more get done in a clock cycle using x64, sure, but not faster.

I wasn't aware that Warhead was supposed to be for x64 natively and that folks were having problems running it, which I assumed. For me no issues thus far on previously stated hardware and x64 OS.

Please tell me that was irony, dude. Please. Or I'm going to lose the last bit of faith I had in mankind.
Actually it's called sarcasm, but you get the idea...

I don't know about you, but when I want to improve my video quality, the first thing I reach for is a fucking bios update. What a fucking tool.

Please tell me that was irony, dude. Please. Or I'm going to lose the last bit of faith I had in mankind.

Seriously, if anyone said that they update their BIOS to improve performance or crap like that, fine, but image quality? Come the fuck on. That's like attempting to pimp the speed of your car by putting on a different bumper sticker and claiming it helped in making your car faster.

What am I missing? I am playing it fine on Win Vista x64 with Sp1?

The question isn't what you are missing. The question is which village is missing their idiot.

Bios update did the trick on the new board so image quality is back to what it should be..

The image quality improved due to a BIOS update? WTF? Are you nuts? Do you even know what a fucking BIOS even is?

Man... this thread is full of funnies. I could have hours of fun quoting stupid shit from posts in this thread but why bother? The same tards will post the same 'tarded shit in the next thread anyway.
Oh well, go right ahead and keep on living your pathetic lives in dumbness. It's all good. The world is less painful when you're dumb anyway. Thou are blessed ones indeed .

Some people want native 64-bit executables, even though it will make no fucking difference in the speed of the application

Exactly, goddamn sheep who buy into 64bit thinking it'll magically make things go quicker!

Warhead is working a bit better for me than Crysis did. Core 2 Duo (E6600) and Geforce 8800 GTS. Getting about 30 fps on "gamer" setting.

Framerates were so slow on Vista, I only played Crysis on XP. But now I can play Warhead with DX9 on Vista, and it works well.

You're missing how that's not good enough for some people. Some people want native 64-bit executables, even though it will make no fucking difference in the speed of the application. Go figure.

From Microsoft's GFW certification page:

Windows on Windows 64 (WOW64) allows 32-bit code to run on 64-bit versions of Windows, so it is not necessary that the application be native 64-bit code on x64 versions of Windows.

GFW is a fucking joke anyway.

If you don't like where gaming is heading, stop giving your money to the people who are taking it in that direction.
