Pack and Cinci tomorrow. Will we see Aaron come out? I hope so. I want to see the kid play. I hope Ocho is playing too! Love that guy!

Bernie was OK. Sometimes I liked the guy, but he mostly struck me as a douchebag. Still, 50, and dying of pnuemonia sucks. Remember Jim Henson died at 53 of the same thing. That sucked big time.
I still miss Jim, can't say the same for Bernie.

“The rappers have gone in and created a lot of hit music based upon my influence,” he said. “And they’ll tell you if you ask.” I respect the hell out of Isaac hayes but it seems many soul singers of the early 60's and 70's with ANY form of spoken word in their music claims they were primary influences in rap.
anyhow, he was a great musician that did have a big influence on R&B and black music in general. |

Gaming journalists are the lowest of the low. Gaming bloggers are somehow one step below that.
I have a feeling the author knew about GTA1 and GTA2 being on the PC, but for the controversy they created, it was nothing compared to the impact GTA3 had, and thus worded the resuling sentence really terribly.

Ummm. GTA was on the PC long before the Playstation. Do these "gaming journalists" even bother to do research? Research?! That's like...work. Better to just play the games and then write articles without doing fact-checking. Much more efficient.

Way too many celebrities dying (early) this year, it seems... or is it just me?
Gotta play "Chocolate Salty Balls" now...
EDIT: This, of course, is not meant to downplay "non-celebrity" deaths - loved ones, friends, and so on.

That case mod looks like the tail light of some 1960s American automotive land yacht rather than a flying wing aircraft. Still neat looking though, just doesn't so much like what its supposed to. Actually the most impressive thing are all the custom made heatsinks they cut from blocks of metal.

I was also completely shocked about Bernie Mac. It seemed like he was still in his prime... what a shame.

Theyre referring to the texture of the meat... The full quote seems to indiccate they were refering to how it *tastes* like venison, except for the taste.
"It tastes excellent, not unlike venison - only a different flavour." |

"But in the minds of PlayStation fans prior to that announcement, GTA was and always would be a PlayStation series. Oh, sure, the earlier versions had all eventually crossed over to the Xbox and PC, but that was ages after they'd already made their splash on the PS2."

"…not unlike venison - only a different flavour." Huh?
Theyre referring to the texture of the meat, like when you slice it up to prepare for cooking/grilling. Kangaroo tastes like a tangy flank steak.
