Here's the Watchmen trailer (thanks Kxmode). I've been trying not to get my hopes up, but that looks pretty perfect, and my hopes have grown so powerful they are now spending time brooding on Mars.

i'll say this at the risk of losing a limb, but i've never seen Sunny in Philly before. I know how you guys rave about it. Worth picking up the first season on Netflix?

Check it out on hulu.com I think they at least have all of season 1. You can sample some of season 1 to see if it's worth getting the rest on Netflix.

It's a legal website that got set up last year with permission from the studios and networks to air content so long as there is some advertising.

The picture quality is alright, for streaming anyway.

The commercials are tame, it's a 15-30 second commercial every 10 minutes or so. Just make sure you turn off AdBlock plugin otherwise you're always stuck with a lame 30-second black screen with a message asking you to turn it off.

We're right in the middle of the first season of Third Watch and loving it, but i'm always looking for a new show. especially during these slow summer months.

Watchmen is my favorite all-time best graphic novel ever. There is nothing close to it. And I dont even like comics and costumed heros that much.

Hopefully the movie will remain truthful to the adult themes and deep philosophical implications of the novel.

I believe you see all of the trailers before the IMAX movie... the trailers just aren't in IMAX...

Edit: I have 4 hours of OT that I plan on cashing in and leaving work early tomorrow to catch the matinee before all the crowd madness.

I would seriously consider getting your tickets online now.

I don't think you'll see the Watchmen trailer in IMAX unless of course they plan on releasing it in IMAX. You might instead see a trailer for a documentary on African Frog Mating Rituals. This is IMAX right? *shivers*

I got my Imax tickets last weekend, and out of curiosity, just looked to see how sold out there were.

There's a midnight and 3AM show, and then 4 times a day, Friday, Sat, and Sunday.

At the local Imax, the only tickets left are for 3AM (4 hours from now) or Sunday at 10PM.

How's that for a sell out?

Yup. "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning" by The Smashing Pumpkins from the 1997 Batman & Robin soundtrack, which is ironic because this trailer debuts in front of The Dark Knight tomorrow. One more reason to go see The Dark Knight Friday.

WOW! That looks pretty faithful, from what I remember...Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan, especially.

Speaking of Billys, I'm assuming that was Billy Corrigan/Smashing Pumpkins doing the music? Sounded like him...

Didn't they do some calculations to figure out who their best salespeople were, and then fire them all at once? Haha, that goes down in infamy.

Last time I was at Circuit City I found it hilariously ironic that their checkout counter was using a keyboard from the 70s with little 8 inch monitors with green text. Wouldn't an electronics store of all places itself use updated technology?

I have no idea how that place stays in business.
