My dad just got a free set of clubs (no bag, cheap fucks) from GE for his dedicated work (thanks, GE!) that I get. Probably not a set of Callaways, but free golf clubs is pretty groovy anyways.
They just moved out to North Carolina coast and I'm heading there next month for summer... surrounded by amazing golf courses. MMmmmm I'll finally have some time away from the computer! |

I took an "inrto to golf" class in college to add a unit on to my final semester load to stay a full time student (back in 1995). That's the only time I have used a "real" golf club. So if I go, I think it will be UGLY golf. But the guys who invited me don't seem to care, so unless I have family conflict, I think I'll try it.
Am not going to start playing though. No time or inclination or $$$ to do so.

I think I may be going golfing tomorrow for the first time.
Ugh.
Have "fun" Before we had a house, we golfed damn near every weekend. Was great. Get out there early, hang out, have some cocktails, play 1-2 rounds, get some good grub. But damn was it getting spendy.
I was also lucky enough to get a hole in one about 2 years ago. Amazing. 175 yards Par 3. Perfect draw, popped the front of the green, and just like on ESPN or Tiger Woods gold, it was like a magnet was in the hole and my ball was metal. Just rolled and rolled and rolled and curved right into the hole! Unbelievable. I have played 1-2 times since.
Playing: GTAIII(PC),Two Worlds(PC), Dead Rising, Lego SW Saga. |

That was actually quite amusing. The bit with the sniper and engineer around the one-min mark is my favourite. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched yet. |

when we use the bones from our vet 2-3 times a week, the plaque buildup will usually disappear during that week. And how well do they work for your dog? |

And if dogs only get their teeth cleaned once a year at their checkup, how is it they don't lose them quicker?
They tend not to eat sugar
Plus, I know some milk bones claim to help clean their teeth. I don't know "how" but I think that's an ad-point. Well, I have noticed that there are bones out there that actually do a cleaning process from the stuff on the bones. I don't have the bag here in front of me, but when we use the bones from our vet 2-3 times a week, the plaque buildup will usually disappear during that week.
One thing to be very careful about, is giving your dog TOO MANY bones, as their teeth will wear down.
