And further common sense, based on you stating "Gamers are sick of it", that if they were sick of it, they wouldn't be spending more money on games without demos. Your logic is flawed.
...I think PC game spending across the board is down dramatically and many have noted that this is causing companies to move to consoles where gamers are more likely to spend money on games for a variety of reasons.
I don't think you're looking at the big picture.

That's not what I said. You are trying to twist words. You are giving a pro-piracy argument, if you don't like the reply, don't make the argument in the first place.
I'm not making a pro-piracy argument. You think that companies are losing money because of Piracy. I think they are losing money because they make poor products, treat the paying customers poorly and charge prices that are too high.
People will spend money if you treat them right and will not spend money if you don't. Theft/piracy is a part of every business and crying about it doesn't make you earn more money. All this talk about how piracy is too blame completely ignores the fact that people don't want to spend money on PC games because they get screwed more often than not.
Piracy is a by product of the real issue. That Game companies take their customers for granted. And the changes your seeing lately, (Increase in piracy, lower sales, migration to consoles) is all stemming from this one issue that you seem to be unaware or of just trying to ignore.
The issue isn't piracy. It's how you treat your customers and if you treat them like crap they can, and will, go elsewhere.
