My long-standing love of Thin Mints is a matter of record, though of course I am far from alone in my enthusiasm for these Girl Scout cookies. So it saddens me that even as we finish off the last of this years crop, Girl Scouts take a stand: Just say no to Thin Mints in the Seattle Times (thanks Ant and Digg) has word that I am apparently being socially irresponsible by eating them. Of course Palm oil is supposed to be bad for you too, so we can consider that part of mother earth's revenge. Who knows, maybe they will reformulate the cookies to make for a more guilt-free experience.
