Look at that! nin points out The Digital Bits Rumor Mill has recent reports of plans for a new Firefly boxed DVD set coming later this year, as well as word on a possible Blu-Ray version. This comes a couple of days after I mention wanting to get such a set, so I guess if I've waited this long to catch up with the exploits of Serenity, I can wait a little longer.

Not only was it shot in widescreen, but the hi-def version has been playing on cable (forget which channel) for some time now, so most of the work has already been done.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there already a boxed set? I'm not sure if there's enough NEW content for a NEW boxed set though, but we'll see.
