Frontlines: Fuel of War Patch

Kaos Studios Community Forum offer a hotfix for the Windows edition of Frontlines: Fuel of War to address SecuROM issues that could prevent the game from loading and possibly fix for crashes related to certain sound cards under Vista. The just-released version 1.01 patch (story) must be applied prior to the hotfix. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

The only goal of drm should be to prevent casual piracy.

If you want to prevent casual piracy, you just need a rudimentary CD-check. If someone knows how to make a clone image, they'll certainly know how to crack a game so DRM is useless in all regards.
