Awesome! I won my first game today - it was a 1vs1 match against the AI on a small random galaxy. And it was tough!
The AI is really good, even on normal difficulty. I can;t wait to try out some mods for this! |

I'm not quite that guy
Was just something I was curious about.
Tonight I got mucking around with the GalaxyForge editor, and I'm very impressed how relatively easy it is to create maps for this game.
Like a few others on the official forum however, I'm looking forward to being able to modify those .entity files. There are just going to end up being so many mods created for this truly wonderful game.
Honestly, I'll buy every expansion/sequel/whatever that gets made for this one.

They started shipping on the first I believe but if you just ordered it probably not until Monday

I don't mean to bug you Blair, but since you keep posting ( ) , when are are the boxes shipping out?
They started shipping on the first I believe but if you just ordered it probably not until Monday.

Yeah that's what I went with, and it's perfect for being able to get best of both worlds. You get download (and play now), AND you get a box sent out to you. It's like win/win.
I'll get the box well before it shows up in stores out here in Australia too. For some reason, it won't hit until 18th April. No way I was going to wait that long.

I posted about in game galaxy forge downloading...dev's say it wont happen for awhile which is a bummer.
I made two very small maps as I don't like the 3 hour matches most of the original maps go to, they are called Engagement and Second Engagement, once they get uploaded on the map download section. Either way my wish of hosting and having others downloading them and we play is not going to happen anytime soon.

It was my fault; I said SoaSE was the best $60 I've ever spent.
Truth be told I've only been at a club once, but that one time, I must've spent in excess of about $200 (Aussie). It was a mate's bucks night, and myself and two more of his mates all paid a bit extra for a private screening. Ooh yeah, baby.
SoaSE is still the best $60 I've ever spent though

I hate the boonies, at least as far as shopping goes, no SSE for me 
Of course I coulnt walk out with nothing and BtS was just too tempting, of course I just bought myself a weeks worth of coding to update my mod to the new xpack.

I know you have to research off world refining; I think it's in the civilian tech tree. Then you can build them from your planet logistics menu, assuming you have enough logistics on that planet.

Hey Blair or anyone else know what stores stock this game, I'm in the boonies, my only options are staples and walmart
EDIT Well DL is another option but I really like to have the media, manual and box.
EDIT2 and it is not even a real walmart, some kind of fake quasi walmart.
