Yeah it does run pretty damn good on the x1950pro, settings med-high, avg like 25-35fps. Beat campaign and play multi-player with no problems and looks good.
If its running like crap it might be your ram, anything below 2gigs is really pushing it on Crysis.

If your 8800GT isn't running Crysis pretty nicely, maybe you should see what is wrong with your card. My buddy just got one of those cards (and Crysis) and his runs just fine as far as I could see. He sure was having fun with it anyway.

I'm talking about the aspect of Nvidia introducing things like triple SLI, instead of bringing out better cards to drive down the price of current ones.

My x1950pro is running crysis pretty nicely at $120. And my 8800GT isn't. Care to share?

And I always chuckle a little when I think about how much money people pay for new cards. My x1950pro is running crysis pretty nicely at $120.

I always chuckle a little when people running an old card cry about a new driver release.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but when the "Products Supported" page only lists "GeForce 8800 GS", it's not hard to make that mistake.

Er, this is a unified driver. A quick check shows it supporting the GF6-8 series. The only reason the 8800GS is mentioned is because it's the release driver for that card.
