Case in point: "Most fans paid $0 for Radiohead album" http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071106/ap_on_hi_te/radiohead_download_study First of all ALEX VEIGA, AP Business Writer, has no empirical data even suggesting most of those downloading the album were even fans. In fact he writes, "Between Oct. 1 and Oct. 29, about 1.2 million people visited the Web site." Most Radiohead fans I know paid $5-$8. This Alex guy should be fired for writing a horrible, innuendo-filled diatribe against Radiohead's right to release their music however the hell they feel like it. And yes, I'm very passionate about this topic.
