the voice acting is horrid
Um, that's not a true statement. The original Far Cry had horrible voice acting that sounded like they were making fun of action movies. This is much better.
Your name is interesting though. Reminds me of me. Killer Kane was a downright nasty, awful man that killed people almost for the fun of it (me attacking people here). Then in a paperwork accident he became the lead psychologist at a mental ward (blue's news). And he was a man who helped people and believed in God.
The movie was called the Ninth Configuration, and in it the guy says, "In order for life to have appeared spontaneously on earth, there first had to be hundreds of millions of protein molecules of the ninth configuration. But given the size of the planet Earth, do you know how long it would have taken for just one of these protein molecules to appear entirely by chance? Roughly ten to the two hundred and forty-third power billions of years. And I find that far, far more fantastic than simply believing in God."
The rest of that movie is pretty insane, full of language and blasphemy. But it's worth it just for that single scene. In the end, Killer Kane gives up his life for a particularly difficult friend he was trying to express his Christian beliefs to in order to bring him to peace. It was the one example he could provide; and it worked.
The world is an evil place, but there is good also.
