While that would have been nice, System Shock 2 is owned by a different company. While this was the same "team" that did SS2, they are in a different company and using a different publisher. I know. It was a pie-in-the-sky suggestion.

It is a game that could make a lot of money being sold again for cheap on something like steam.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I would kill for that.
I have the cd somewhere but haven't seen it in awhile...

Or bundled with BioShock While that would have been nice, System Shock 2 is owned by a different company. While this was the same "team" that did SS2, they are in a different company and using a different publisher.
So the only way this would happen would be on the retail level, like if NewEgg decided to get rid of some old SS2 units by offering a BioShock/SS2 bundle.

Metroid is Tuesday, but I will probably take up SS2 after that (or at least that with some other older games.)
I have the upgraded textures and, I think, models, but that game is still quite, quite fugly. I almost keep on thinkigng I messed up and it was not installed, but some of the textures are obviously sharp and crisp. If only I could get some Bioshock/SS2 hybrid. FTW. Having nothing good to play now :(, Ray

Coolness! Wish the game was purchasable online. Steam? Direct2Drive? Someone?? Ebay. Or Amazon for used.
Underdogs has it available for download, supposedly, but I have not been able to get anything to work from them in a long time. And by the files size, I suspect it is missing a lot of the audio logs.
I was lucky I still had my CD lying around here somewhere. I had to go through a couple of boxes. I can not even find it for download online. There was one supposed torrent, but it never got over 2K/sec, so I said screw it and went looking for my CD.

I had not checked my time server settings in quite some time, but upon checking, I see that my service was off. When enabled, it was already set to time-a.nist.gov. However, synchronization failed.
I tried: time.windows.com time.nist.gov time-a.nist.gov and all failed.
Last in the list was time-b.nist.gov which was the only one that worked. Odd.

I went to McDonald's and had 2 double cheeseburgers and a small fry from the "value menu." I'm not feeling good right now... For some fucked up reason, about a year ago, the idea of chicken mcnuggets sounded tasty to me.
About 4-5 hours later, my stomach let me know what a grave mistake I'd made...
So I know how ya feel.

Instead of using one or two specific time servers, why not use several rotating ones, which are unlikely to be all down at any given time? Even better, how about being able to set a pool of time servers on the same continent as your location?
http://www.pool.ntp.org/
The pool.ntp.org project is a big virtual cluster of timeservers striving to provide reliable easy to use NTP service for millions of clients without putting a strain on the big popular timeservers. [Edited because I can had speling erors...]

Wow, that kid didn't even make it to the water. Not sure if he tripped, if it was a setup or if the kid was just plain stupid.
Man and I thought my swing was awkward. Poor Charles, everyone laughed at him.

Charles Barkley: Worst Golf Swing Ever? That was my exact thought this AM when I was watching ESPN. Holy shit is that bad. I am no pro (play off and on for the past 5 years - although - I got a hole in one last year!) but at least my swing is smooth all the way through, it is though he has a hitch in his swing or a little something that keeps him from swinging all the way through smoothly. Hilarious. Looks like it actually HURTS to swing. As a person with back problems - looks like his back is fused.
